the other end of the first module.
The "downhill" side of the first module usually needs 4"x4" support posts, attached with a multitude of 3" screws. Big C-clamps and temporary supports of scrap lumber make alignment a lot easier.
Unless we're attaching to a large porch with plenty of room, the first module needs to be flat, not sloped. This eases turning around and operating the door while in a wheelchair. Larger power wheelchairs and gurneys often require larger areas for turning.
