How to build a ramp, Step 3
The proceeding modules are bolted together, using 2 bolts at each junction and 4"x4" posts on each corner when necessary.
The recommended maximum slope is 1 foot of ramp for each 1 inch of vertical drop.

In Dallas, where the clay-based ground is very solid and it rarely freezes, we "anchor" the 4"x4" posts on 2"x6" pads, placed directly on the ground. Of course, in many climates, other means might be necessary.

C-clamps and temporary supports are very valuable while piecing the modules together.
