The support structure is finished with an 8' long wedge-shaped module, providing the "roll on" interface between the ground and the ramp.

As the three support beams get narrower, they become weaker, which can lead to a bit of "bounce" in the ramp. To firm up this end, when possible, we'll shim scraps between the beams and the ground or sidewalk below.
