the surface plywood.
The decking of the ramp is 4'x8' sheets of 3/4" treated plywood, attached to the three beams underneath with screws, approximately one per foot.
Occasionally, the 4' width of the decking doesn't exactly match the 4' width of the support structure underneath. If the decking is slightly narrower than the support structure, it's OK, as the kickplates will cover the gap quite nicely. If the decking is wider than the support structure, it will need to be trimmed to make room for the handrail uprights.
